Terms of use

1. The service

slowcast.net (https://slowcast.net) is a web player that shows curated ambient video channels and optional YouTube or Spotify audio. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

2. Personal use

The service is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape, resell, or misuse the site in a way that harms the service or its operators.

3. Third-party content and accounts

Video and music come from third parties such as YouTube and Spotify. Their terms and policies apply when you use their players or connect an account. slowcast.net does not own that content and cannot guarantee it remains available or embeddable.

Connecting Spotify uses Spotify’s OAuth flow. slowcast.net does not create a separate account for you; disconnecting Spotify removes our refresh token cookie.

4. No warranty

The service is provided “as is.” Playback may fail, channels may change, and features may be interrupted without notice. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of availability, accuracy, and fitness for a particular purpose.

5. Liability

We are not liable for third-party content, outages, or damages arising from use of the site, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

6. Privacy

How we handle data is described in the Privacy page.

7. Contact

Questions about these terms: see the contact details on the Imprint page.

8. Changes

We may update these terms when the service changes. The version on this page is the current one.
